Seeing a doctor
Ask for a time, name the symptom, and know what a walk-in clinic is asking. Practice only. Not medical advice.
Start with I need an appointment with a GP this week. Add a short symptom, such as a sore throat or a headache, and the days you can come. Have the card the desk asked for. Do not read your whole history into the phone.
The booking episode and the consultation episode are separate on purpose. Fees and same-day availability are whatever that clinic says that day. Chest pain or trouble breathing is an emergency, not a dialogue exercise.
A walk-in clinic may be without an appointment. You take a number, say when it started, and answer questions about allergies or being short of breath. That still is not a diagnosis.
Telehealth means the visit is on a call. Describe what you see, and listen if they tell you to come into the clinic instead. The audio and cartoon are AI-generated. They do not replace a doctor and they do not promise a visa or an insurance outcome.
